Despite the challenges of war, the educational process in Donetsk region continues thanks to mutual support and partnership. The educational institutions relocated to Kirovohrad support each other and develop new forms of cooperation.
The Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth held the first orienteering lesson of this academic year for cadets of the Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. The participants learned how to use a map, compass and conventional signs, how to plan a route and find the best way to the checkpoints.
For future law enforcement officers, such knowledge is an important part of their professional training, as orienteering develops the ability to make quick decisions, think strategically and work effectively in a team.
As a host region, Kirovohrad oblast demonstrates an example of cohesion and partnership: it supports relocated educational institutions in Donetsk oblast, facilitates the exchange of experience and the implementation of joint initiatives.
