This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
For the third year in a row, the Donetsk Regional State Administration together with the Charitable Foundation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine “Together with Ukraine” has been implementing a program of psychological rehabilitation and recovery for children affected by the war. This time, the trip to Greece was organized for children who lost their relatives, whose parents went missing, or are held captive.
For 15 days, the children stayed on the Ionian Sea coast at the Ionia Village camp. They had comfortable living conditions, meals, and a rich program that included sessions with psychologists, art therapy, sports games, workshops, and cultural events.
A special highlight was an excursion to ancient Olympia — the place where the Olympic Games began 2,500 years ago. The children also tried their hand at the Greek dance Sirtaki — a symbol of friendship and unity.
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to organizing this trip. Together we give children new strength, bright memories, and faith in the future.
