The forum “Numo, Sisters! Free to Choose! Strong Together”, held in Kyiv, is a powerful voice of women affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
It is the voice of those who survived captivity, torture, violence, and humiliation. Among them are women of Donetsk region who, despite their trauma, did not break — instead, they transformed their experience into strength to support others.
The forum was organized by the NGO Numo, Sisters!. Cooperation with this organization has already brought results: 20 people have received one-time financial assistance of 150,000 UAH each, and this work continues.
At the same time, we emphasize not only the financial aspect. When it comes to comprehensive support, our shared task is much deeper and broader.
Today’s forum became an honest and open platform for dialogue. We will work together to implement the proposals developed there, helping people return to normal life as quickly as possible.
