On July 11, an online meeting was held, chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. The meeting focused on coordinating the payment of financial assistance to households located in frontline areas for the purchase of fuel and other expenses related to the winter period of 2025–2026.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yuriy Vinokurov, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Oleksandr Shevchenko, and heads of relevant structural units of the regional state administration.
During the meeting, key aspects of the assistance mechanism were discussed. In particular, the amount of financial assistance to households for the purchase of solid domestic fuel, the procedure for compiling lists of recipients, and the deadlines for submitting these lists to international partners for further verification and provision of assistance were determined.
The issue of preparing for winter in the frontline territories is extremely important in the context of security, stability, and maintaining basic living conditions for the residents of Donetsk region. The Donetsk Regional State Administration, together with central authorities and international partners, is taking all necessary measures to provide timely assistance to the population in need.
