Ivan Bogush was 21 years old. He was born on October 22, 2004, in Sloviansk. He was a student at Donbas State Pedagogical University. He had completed his third year in the Department of Vocational and Pedagogical Education. He worked at a street food stand on Vokzalna Street in Sloviansk.

On July 24, 2026, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on the area where he worked. Ivan and four other people were killed.
Ivan Bogush was buried in his hometown.
He is survived by his mother, stepfather, younger brother, and girlfriend.
