The 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo has begun filming the feature-length documentary “Madness: Kostiantynivka.”
The film will depict the transformation of this frontline town as it undergoes changes under attack by the Russian army.
The focus is on the residents who remain in Kostiantynivka and the soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces who are holding back the enemy. Their personal stories will show how the war is changing people, their daily lives, and the town itself.
The film will combine current footage, personal videos from residents, shots from the front lines and drone footage, as well as archival material—to show Kostiantynivka before the widespread destruction and to document how Russian troops are destroying it today.
The production team thanks the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and the Media Center of the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their support and assistance in creating this project.
