The charitable organization “International Charitable Foundation ‘Harvest of Victory’” announces that the grant project “Support for Small Farmers in Ukraine” (Assistance to the Small Farmers of Ukraine), initiated by The Howard G. Buffett Foundation, is entering its next phase of implementation—the fall harvest of 2026.
This phase of the project will be implemented by providing agricultural enterprises with temporary, free use of agricultural equipment: combine harvesters, tractors, and transfer hoppers.
During the campaign, periodic maintenance of the equipment, in accordance with the regulations, will be performed by authorized dealers at the users’ expense, proportional to the number of engine hours each has logged.
Priority in receiving assistance is given to farmers engaged in agricultural activities in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions, which have been directly affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
Other regions of Ukraine may be included in the priority list on a residual basis.
Decisions regarding the provision of equipment for free temporary use are made by the Fund’s Supervisory Board, taking into account the following criteria:
- Farms with an area of up to 500 hectares—the primary and highest-priority group;
- Farms with an area of up to 1,000 hectares—the second priority group;
- Farms with an area exceeding 1,000 hectares are eligible to participate only if they can provide documented evidence of the loss of most of their agricultural equipment or production assets as a result of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression and are unable to carry out planting or harvesting operations on their own, in which case they may use equipment from the fund for a single type of work on an area not exceeding 1,500 hectares;
- Farms that are part of agricultural groups, agribusiness holding companies, agricultural and industrial corporations, large agricultural enterprises, as well as farms associated with national public figures and/or politically exposed persons (PEPs) are eligible to participate in the Fund’s program based on an individual decision made at a meeting of the Fund’s Supervisory Board.
Farmers who meet the above criteria may submit an application by August 17, 2026, via the CRM system on the Fund’s website at https://victoryharvest.com.ua/
