Donetsk region actively participates in All-Ukrainian initiatives aimed at strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity.
In early August, a wave of All-Ukrainian seminar-trainings “Specialist in the field of strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity” took place.
The training brought together representatives of communities, state institutions, education, youth and public sectors from different regions of Ukraine.
It was a space for exchanging experiences, finding effective solutions and developing new approaches to working with people.
What was in focus?
🔹 Legislation - understanding modern state policy in the field of UUNGI.
🔹 Practical tools - methods of working with values and creating local initiatives.
🔹 Strategizing - new approaches to the development of youth and civic work.
🔹 Experience exchange - successful community cases and opportunities to adapt them at the local level.
A particularly important emphasis is the rejection of formalism. Identity is formed not only during official events. It grows through education, culture, youth work, joint projects and the opportunity for each person to feel their own involvement in Ukraine.
“Today, it is extremely important to move away from formalism and implement lively, effective initiatives. This training provided clear tools for each resident of our community to feel their connection with national values and take an active part in the development of Ukraine,” said Olena Doroshevich, a specialist from the Doropol community.
For successfully completing the training, participants received state-issued documents.
