Yulia Kozachenko, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Knowledge Leaders” category
Yuliia Kozachenko is an educator, civic leader and socially responsible entrepreneur who combines education, youth policy and practical tools for youth development.
She graduated with honors from Donbas State Teachers’ Training University with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science Education and is currently pursuing a second degree in Psychology. She is committed to continuous professional development and has earned more than 30 certificates in education, youth policy, crisis psychological support, digital technologies and soft skills development.
For more than seven years, Yuliia has worked in education, teaching young people not only computer science but also practical digital, financial and communication skills. She has created an extracurricular mentoring system and provides training in video editing, SMM, financial literacy and time management.
Since 2021, Yuliia has been a member of the Youth Council under the Bakhmut City Council, and in 2026 she was elected for a third consecutive term. She coordinates young people living in evacuation, contributes to youth policy development and implements social and educational initiatives.
During the 2025–2026 academic year, her students participated in more than 60 activities and achieved numerous victories at international, national and regional levels.
Yuliia Kozachenko creates opportunities for young people even in wartime - educating, supporting and empowering them to become independent and responsible citizens of Ukraine.
