In order to create a safe, creative, and educational environment for children in Donetsk region during the summer period, the municipal institution "Donetsk Palace of Youth 'Yunost'" is implementing the interactive online camp program "ART-space". Participants are children aged 6 to 12 years.
The camp program is aimed at developing creativity, emotional sensitivity, aesthetic taste, physical activity, and communication skills through participation in various activities in a mixed format.
The first shift, which lasted from June 9 to June 20, 2025, brought together about 2000 participants. Children participated daily in classes on choreography, vocals, acting skills, morning exercises, sports activities, workshops on decorative and applied arts, interactive games, quizzes, quests, and more.
The camp format was flexible: in Kyiv, classes were held offline, while children temporarily residing in other regions had the opportunity to join online. This approach ensured wide accessibility and engagement regardless of the place of residence.
Psychological support was provided by a specialist who worked with both children and parents — helping to maintain the emotional well-being of the participants.
The camp became not only a space for development but also a platform for new acquaintances and team interaction. Children found new friends, discovered talents within themselves, and gained positive experiences of collaboration.
