Throughout 2025, specialists from the Eastern Office of the State Audit Service in Donetsk Oblast conducted 201 state financial control measures, including 187 monitoring activities, 5 procurement inspections, 5 audits, and 4 reviews. The control measures covered UAH 5.8 billion in funds and property.
The results of the measures taken documented violations and shortcomings totaling UAH 1.3 billion. The department's employees were also involved as specialists in pre-trial investigations by law enforcement agencies and confirmed financial violations that led to losses amounting to UAH 16.6 million.
Thanks to the work of the auditors, losses incurred due to violations of the law in the amount of UAH 9.9 million were compensated, and violations of the law in the field of procurement in the amount of UAH 634.0 million were prevented and eliminated. Since the implementation of the recommendations provided by the auditors, losses of resources due to ineffective management actions or decisions amounting to UAH 94.3 million have been compensated and prevented, with an economic effect of UAH 4.3 million.
Due to violations of legislation on financial issues and procurement, 11 officials were brought to administrative responsibility, 9 to disciplinary responsibility, and 3 to material responsibility.
Based on the results of the measures taken, 56 management decisions were adopted by the heads of local authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organizations.
Based on the violations and abuses documented by auditors, law enforcement agencies initiated three pre-trial investigations, five cases were added to already open criminal proceedings, and three written notices of suspicion of committing a criminal offense were served.
