From January 23 to 26, 2026, the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren held a regional online challenge called "Facts and Symbols," dedicated to the memory of Holocaust victims.
Students from various communities in the Donetsk region joined the challenge. Through historical collages, participants reflected on the tragic pages of the past, combining facts, events, and symbols of Holocaust remembrance in the language of visual art—with respect, tact, and understanding of the subject.
The works impressed with their sincerity, meaningfulness, and creativity. A total of about 200 participants joined the challenge.
The online format brought together young people from the region in a common educational space, becoming a platform for dialogue, reflection, and mutual enrichment.
