On the eve of the joyous Easter holiday, the social hub “Avdiivka. Free People. That’s How It Was, That’s How It Will Be” hosted a warm gathering dedicated to making Easter crafts.
The event was filled with a special creative atmosphere, resulting in authentic Easter egg wreaths! On colorful bases shaped like Easter eggs, the children created entire spring scenes: around cute bunnies, willow twigs and flowers “bloomed,” and bright butterflies, birds, and green grass appeared. Each piece is a symbol of faith in the light and goodness that Easter brings us.
It is in moments like these that you feel the true synergy of creativity, which unites different lives, fosters imagination, and teaches sincere mutual support. This unity in work best reflects the essence of the “Side by Side: United Communities” program, aimed at creating conditions for the social adaptation and support of both the local population and displaced persons. These joint efforts provide children with support and inspiration, proving that together we are much stronger!
The Avdiivka community sincerely thanks the Uman community for its support and for making such heartfelt gatherings possible. Cooperation within the “Side by Side” program has become the foundation for a strong bond between Avdiivka and Uman. This joint work consistently creates a supportive environment where everyone feels like part of a large, united family.
