As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Bakhmut City Community continues to actively expand its network of partnerships.
The established cooperation with the communities of Hostomel, Hoshcha, and Kremenchuk is aimed at supporting youth, developing social initiatives, and strengthening ties between residents of different regions of Ukraine.
The collaboration encompasses a wide range of activities conducted both remotely and in person.
▪️Psychological support and self-development: A series of specialized webinars and training sessions featuring professional psychologists has been organized. The main focus is on issues of mental health, stress resilience, and the adaptation of young people under martial law.
▪️Interactive and mass events: Themed flash mobs are held to promote shared values and unite youth communities in partner cities.
▪️In-person meetings and exchange of experiences: The priority remains organizing offline events that allow representatives of youth councils and civic activists to exchange practical case studies in the field of youth policy.
As part of the partnership with the city of Kremenchuk, the Department of Youth Policy and Children’s Affairs of the Bakhmut City Council received a letter of appreciation from Kremenchuk Mayor Vitaliy Maletskyi.
The youth of Bakhmut received an award for their active participation in a patriotic photo challenge, which served as a tool for visualizing unity and cultural interaction between communities.
