The Head of Donetsk region held a working meeting attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi, farmers, relocated agricultural enterprises, as well as representatives of the tax service and banking institutions.
“I thanked the Ministry of Economy and personally Taras Vysotskyi for their systematic work, attention to the challenges of frontline territories, and willingness to jointly develop effective solutions to support farmers.
We discussed key issues of the region’s agro-industrial sector: areas of state support for 2026, the current condition of the sector, and the main challenges faced by farmers in wartime conditions.
Special attention was paid to relocated enterprises. Today, they need clear and understandable rules — including legislative regulation of their status, access to state support through compensation for relocation costs, and resolving issues related to the provision of land plots for resuming production.
Among other important topics was the need to exempt farmers in Donetsk region operating in potential combat zones from paying the minimum tax liability until the end of martial law.
In addition, Oschadbank presented opportunities for accessing preferential lending programs for farmers in frontline areas.
I emphasized that the region is providing maximum possible support and assistance to our farmers. However, relocated enterprises that are ready to operate now require state-level support.
Following the meeting, a number of priority tasks were identified for further work.
We are working together to preserve the agricultural potential of the region and support those who continue to work under extremely difficult conditions,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
