As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," a joint online meeting was held to continue the partnership between the Bakhmut community and the Kremenchuk community.
The event brought together representatives of both communities who work directly with young people. The main topic of discussion was the exchange of experience in working with young people, which is important for preserving the human capital of the Bakhmut and Kremenchuk communities.
The Bakhmut community presented its work in the context of relocation. Representatives of the youth policy department spoke about the challenges of maintaining contact with young people and continuing educational and social programs, despite the fact that the people of Bakhmut are far from home.
The Kremenchuk community shared its achievements and successful practices in the field of youth policy. This experience should be a valuable resource for Bakhmut, helping to adapt programs and strategies for working with internally displaced youth.
The meeting participants agreed on priority areas for cooperation. These agreements will form the basis of a practical roadmap detailing joint actions and measures planned for 2026.
Side by side, Bakhmut and Kremenchuk are demonstrating that joint efforts are the path to sustainability today and the key to successful recovery tomorrow.
