On October 14, the 70th anniversary of the re-located state educational institution Bakhmut Center for Vocational Education was celebrated in the village of Hoshcha, Rivne Oblast.
The anniversary brought together educators from Donetsk Oblast, government officials, scientists and veterans of teaching.
The staff and teachers were greeted by the first deputy head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Serhiy Podolin, the director of the Department of Education and Science of the Rivne Regional State Administration Petro Korzhevsky, the head of the patronage service of the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Anna Yashchenko, and the acting director of the Department of Education and Science of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Yulia Burtseva. The teachers were also congratulated by the Deputy Head of Bakhmut City Council Serhiy Rodin and Hoshcha village head Mykola Panchuk.
The staff and teachers of the Center received awards and honors from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Donetsk Regional State Administration, the Department of Education and Science of the Regional State Administration, the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science of Ukraine, local governments and partner organizations.
The event also included a roundtable discussion "Management of a Modern Educational Institution: Innovations, Partnerships, Digital Transformation" and the All-Ukrainian Conference "Identity. Resilience. Struggle" dedicated to national-patriotic education and the development of veteran policy.
The anniversary was an opportunity not only to summarize the achievements, but also to outline new directions for development.
The Bakhmut Vocational School is a story of dignity, professionalism and love of work that has been going on for seven decades and has been educating generations of highly qualified specialists and conscious citizens of Ukraine.
