The participation of Donetsk Region libraries in national professional forums and competitions is much more than just an exchange of experience or presentation of achievements. It is convincing proof that librarianship in Ukraine is not only maintaining its position, but is also actively developing, transforming and responding to the challenges of the modern world.
These achievements are particularly significant today, when libraries in Donetsk region are operating in extremely difficult conditions of war, relocation and constant instability.
We sincerely congratulate the municipal cultural institution ‘Centralised System of Public Libraries of the Kostyantynivka City Council’ on its victory in the All-Ukrainian competition of projects for the provision of cultural services to young residents of territorial communities. The project ‘Euroquest: Code of Europe. Journey for Values’ is a striking example of a modern, creative and meaningful approach to working with children and young people.
This is a well-deserved recognition of the daily, responsible and often unnoticed work of librarians who, even in the most difficult times, care about preserving cultural memory, educating the younger generation and shaping the values of the future.
This victory is a vivid testimony to the high professional level of Donetsk region libraries and proof that our region is strong and unbreakable.
