Throughout the year, Donetsk region rescuers made about a thousand trips to frontline communities, evacuating 355 local residents, including 71 children and 18 people with limited mobility. The evacuations were carried out under constant threat of enemy shelling and attacks.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region.
Despite the daily danger, the FENIX evacuation team continues to carry out its mission — to give people a chance at life. Risking their own lives, the group's specialists travel to the most dangerous communities to ensure the evacuation of the most vulnerable segments of the population.
