As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a substantive professional meeting was held, bringing together library specialists from the Kostiantynivka and Oleksandriia communities to exchange experiences, modern practices, and effective approaches to library work amid the need to rethink their role in society.
The “Together_Hub” library space—a “third place”—is a modern, open venue in the Oleksandriia community, established on the premises of Branch Library No. 8 for youth. The hub was made possible by a project implemented as part of the “eMistechko – A Space for Your Opportunities” program with support from the EVZ Foundation.
The transformation of the library into the multifunctional “Razom_Hub” has made it possible to bring together community residents, internally displaced persons, and civil society organizations around key areas of activity: education and training, support for veterans, health and sports, digital literacy, creativity, and leisure.
We are truly delighted to join our colleagues in celebrating the successful implementation of this project! “Razom_Hub” has become a shining example of how a modern Ukrainian library can respond swiftly to today’s challenges and transform into a true hub of community engagement.
Such spaces demonstrate that library transformation is not merely about renovating facilities, but first and foremost about creating a safe environment for community interaction, support, and development.
