Russian troops are systematically destroying Kramatorsk and its surrounding areas: every day they bomb the city with aerial bombs and use FPV drones to carry out precision strikes on buildings and cars. Under extremely difficult conditions, the “White Angel” police crews continue to evacuate residents.
The enemy has attacked the Center for Extracurricular Activities twice with KAB bombs. The building sustained serious damage, particularly the zoology club’s room. But a true miracle occurred: the animals in the damaged wing survived.
“We were about to evacuate them, but we were just a little too late… I’m simply in shock. Children used to come here, too,” says Olena Ksenzhuk, the club’s leader.
Now all the animals are safe: the iguana, chinchillas, and parrots have been transported to the Poltava region.
Amid shelling, police are evacuating people from destroyed homes. On Kramatorsk Boulevard, a woman and her dog were rescued from the “White Angels” building, which was engulfed in flames after being hit by a drone.
“I woke up in the middle of the night from the smell of smoke—it’s just horrible… But how could I leave my Dana behind? She’s coming with me,” says the resident.
Just as she was getting into the car, another drone appeared in the sky. People took cover in the building’s entrance. As soon as the threat passed, the rescue mission continued.
Another stop—another person saved. A woman who can barely walk on crutches tearfully recounts that a Russian drone flew into her window that morning. Her home is completely destroyed.
The “White Angels” evacuated a mother and her minor son from the village of Bilenke. Enemy shells landed just a few houses away from theirs.
It is becoming more dangerous by the day to remain in the city and its suburbs. The Donetsk Regional Police are once again urging residents of the Kramatorsk community: do not risk your lives or the health of your loved ones—evacuate! “White Angel” crews will help anyone who needs it to leave.
