The Donetsk Regional State Administration is continuing a photo project dedicated to the heroism of Ukrainian defenders and their families.
The initiative was launched by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs back in 2024. At that time, the wives of fallen soldiers from the Donetsk region participated in the photo shoot, and now active-duty male and female defenders from various law enforcement agencies have joined the project.
A large photo exhibition will open in honor of Ukraine’s Defenders’ Day. It will bring together two series of photographs: “The Unbreakable Women of Donetsk Oblast,” featuring portraits of the wives of fallen heroes on canvas, and a new exhibition, “The Strength of the Unconquered,” with photographs of modern-day soldiers. The main goal of the initiative is to honor the courage of those who stand firm and to preserve the memory of every fallen defender.
