Risking their lives, amid the constant hum of drones and explosions, police officers and volunteers evacuated an 85-year-old man and his wife.
The streets of Druzhkivka are deserted, and the number of destroyed buildings is growing by the day. In some parts of the city, it is already impossible to drive a car due to the overwhelming presence of enemy drones.
Leaving their car in a relatively safe place, the police officers walk behind the couple, who have finally decided to evacuate.
The man and woman cannot walk on their own, so the “White Angels” transport them both on ordinary wheelbarrows. Enemy drones are buzzing overhead, so they have to act very quickly and cautiously. While the people get into the car, law enforcement officers maintain a circular defense with anti-drone weapons. Local residents and volunteers help carry the evacuees’ belongings.
The family, which required medical assistance, is now in a safe place.
The police are urging citizens not to delay and to leave the danger zone, as evacuation from Druzhkivka is becoming increasingly difficult.
