In honor of Vyshyvanka Day, the Donetsk Youth Palace “Yunist” organized a regional online contest titled “Embroidered Amulets of Unity.” The event brought together schoolchildren, college students, and educators from educational institutions across our region.
The project became a unique space where the modern creativity of young people, the experience of mentors, and the warmth of family traditions merged into a single palette. The scale of this year’s initiative is impressive, as nearly 1,000 participants joined in creating a shared symbolic talisman, for whom the embroidered shirt is a symbol of inner strength and resilience.
Creative efforts unfolded across four key categories: “I Am a Part of Ukraine,” “Digital Vyshyvanka,” “Embroidered Family,” and “Unity in the Vyshyvanka.” A true indicator of the event’s popularity was the online voting on the website of the “Yunist” Youth Palace, during which over 5,000 people cast their votes for nominees in the “Audience Choice Award” category.
Donetsk Oblast is proud of its talented and conscious generation!
