Serhiy Chaus, Head of the Chasovoyarsk City Military Administration, took part in the interregional working visit “Space of Unity—Joint Solutions,” which was held as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.

Representatives of participating communities from various regions of Ukraine gathered in Kharkiv to discuss current challenges, share experiences of working under constant security threats, and present successful practices for community functioning during wartime. The event served as an important platform for exchanging ideas, developing new approaches to territorial development, and strengthening cooperation.

The joint effort resulted in eight interregional partnerships and eight project initiatives developed with the support of facilitators from the “Side by Side: United Communities” project. The best of the developed ideas will receive financial support and be implemented in practice, contributing to community development and improving the quality of life for their residents.

The event was organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine as part of the #EU4Recovery program—the flagship partnership between the European Union and UNDP in Ukraine.

We sincerely thank the organizers, partners, and all participants for the opportunity to engage in open dialogue, share experiences, and work together to find effective solutions. Special thanks to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, the European Union, and UNDP in Ukraine for supporting Ukrainian communities, creating conditions for cooperation, and implementing important initiatives that promote unity, recovery, and sustainable development in Ukraine.

Only through joint efforts, mutual support, and partnership can we overcome today’s challenges and bring our shared Victory closer.
