According to the dispatcher of the Main Gas Pipeline Production Management Department, on June 1, 2026, the inlet and outlet valves at the Druzhkivka gas distribution station were shut off.
This decision was made due to constant daily shelling by Russian occupation forces. Due to the latest damage to the gas networks, it is currently technically impossible to carry out emergency repair work and ensure a stable gas supply.
As of now, 17,368 customers remain without gas:
▪️ Druzhkivka
— 4,151 private sector customers;
— 13,342 customers in the public sector;
▪️ Kindrativka village
— 2 customers in the private sector;
▪️ Druzhkivske (Chervonozoriane) village
— 15 customers in the private sector.
Specialists from Donetskoblgaz, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator, did everything in their power until the very last moment to avoid a forced shutdown of the city and surrounding communities.
However, Russian troops continue to deliberately destroy critical infrastructure in the Donetsk region, leaving civilians without electricity, water, and gas supplies.
