Each of us dreams of living in a clean and well-maintained place. Cleanliness begins not with dreams but with actions. That is why the students of Donetsk region actively joined the celebration of World Cleanup Day, an international environmental initiative aimed at fostering a responsible attitude towards the environment.
The children of the Bakhmut City Territorial Community, who are now staying in the city of Zhovti Vody, demonstrated the importance of caring for the environment by their own example. Together with their teachers, they went to the local park to clean up the recreation area from garbage.
The peculiarity of this year's cleanup was not only the collection but also the sorting of garbage. This is an extremely important step, as separate waste collection can significantly reduce the burden on the environment and give waste a "second life" through recycling.
World Cleanup Day is about responsibility, unity and the desire to live in a clean world. By participating, young Bakhmut residents urge not to pollute the environment, because the cleanliness of the planet begins with the responsibility of each of us.
