Every year on September 21, the International Day of Peace is celebrated. This day reminds us that peace is the highest value that every person and every nation strives for.
On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, humanitarian hubs/centers established for residents of Donetsk Oblast in the safe regions of Ukraine organized and held a number of interesting and vibrant events.
The warm and inspiring workshops "With Ukraine in our hearts", "Children want peace", "Doves are a symbol of peace", "Scatter peace doves around the world", "Hugs of peace for Ukraine" became a real celebration of creativity, unity and love for the Motherland. In their touching compositions, the children expressed their emotions, dreams and desire to live in harmony.
The peace dove is a global symbol of peace, purity and the desire for harmony. The children of Donetsk created a large poster "Dove of Peace", painted and cut out paper doves, which became a symbol of unity and hope.
The participants were especially inspired to create angels, a symbol of protection and heavenly support for our soldiers, as well as white doves, a symbol of peace and hope for a brighter future for Ukraine.
Bright events "We are for peace", "Ukraine's dream of peace" and wonderful interactive activities where children participated in cognitive quizzes, competitions, battles, defined the concept of "peace", shared their thoughts and dreams of a future without war, were held in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere and ended with photo shoots and sweet gifts.
The lesson "Peace begins with oneself: restoring internal resources" allowed everyone to feel unity, support and strength of internal resources.
The children created a "Peace Tree" decorated with doves - messengers of goodness and hope, which became small messages of good thoughts and sincere wishes of peace for the whole of Ukraine.
The International Day of Peace is a reminder to the whole world that only unity, mutual respect and support make us stronger. Simple words, children's smiles, and symbolic doves created an atmosphere of unity, faith, and hope.
