This holiday is for those who hold on to the land even when shells are whistling overhead. For the fourth year of full-scale war, our farmers have been working under shelling, losing equipment, warehouses, and entire farms — but they do not stop.
This year, 396 agricultural enterprises are operating in the free territory of the region, which have already sown almost 200,000 hectares — despite everything.
Donetsk farmers are not just about bread. They are about courage and resilience.
You feed people, support communities, and help the military. You don't look for excuses, you just do your job — even when war is raging nearby. Your land is now covered not only with wheat, but also with trenches. But you persevere. And you believe that the day will come when every field will be just a field again.
