Nadiya Lomova died on April 11, 2023, in Bakhmut.
Fighting was raging. The woman was with her family in the basement of a nine-story building, the first entrance of which was destroyed by a powerful explosion. Her husband, daughter, and young grandson were killed nearby.
Nadiya Lomova was 59 years old. She was born in Bakhmut. She worked at the health center of a non-ferrous metal processing plant. She later retired.
“Nadiya was wonderful. Kind, caring. She and her husband had a dacha where they had their own garden, grew vegetables, and planted flowers,” said the Lomovs' matchmaker, Larisa Alekseyenko.
Nadia's in-laws are still alive.
