In Donetsk region, the implementation of the project "Our Donetsk. Our Home. Our Fortress" continues, initiated by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin.
This project is being implemented in partnership between educational institutions, the Department of Education and Science of the Regional State Administration, and military units – aimed at strengthening national-patriotic education and military career guidance for youth.
Its goal is to create an open and understandable information system so that every young man or woman who plans to join the military in the future clearly understands their prospects, service conditions, and opportunities for self-realization.
As part of this project, meetings were held with students from the graduating classes of vocational and higher education institutions in Druzhkivka and Sloviansk.
Military personnel shared their experiences, talked about service in various units, the conditions for contract service – particularly for youth aged 18–24, as well as the benefits and career growth opportunities in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The conversation was sincere, open, and useful – just as it should be when it comes to choosing a future and civic duty.
Special attention was paid to practical classes in tactical medicine. Participants had the opportunity not only to see but also to practice basic first aid actions that can save lives.
Each such event is a step towards a conscious choice. The project continues its work, and our youth is not just getting acquainted with the conditions of service but is also getting a chance to start adult life confidently and with dignity.
