This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

This time, an important meeting took place with Governor Ned Lamont and his team.

Yurii Vynokurov and Serhiy Kalyan, Head of the Bakhmut District Military Administration, expressed gratitude to the state of Connecticut for its assistance to the residents of Donetsk Oblast and specifically highlighted the need to strengthen support for people forced to evacuate from the region.

Ned Lamont assured that Connecticut will continue to support Donetsk Oblast. Areas targeted for further development include educational opportunities for our children in the United States, exchange of expertise in housing construction, and the enhancement of the social assistance system.

They also reconfirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts with Ukraine Aid International, Inc. Thanks to this organization and its support, a number of vital projects have already been implemented in Donetsk Oblast.

"I am sincerely grateful to Governor Ned Lamont and his team for their consistent support of Donetsk Oblast and their readiness to expand cooperation," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
