For 30 students of the Kramatorsk Higher Vocational School, who are currently undergoing practical training at the relocated institution in the village of Koropets, Ternopil region, teachers organized a comprehensive educational and practical event for Civil Protection Day.

The purpose of the event was to develop skills for behavior in emergency situations, improve first aid skills, as well as familiarize participants with fire safety rules and the use of personal protective equipment.

The training took place in the format of four thematic stations:

Station 1 "Evacuation" – participants practiced algorithms for actions during air alerts, staying in shelters, and evacuation.

Station 2 "First Aid" – students learned how to stop bleeding, apply bandages, and carry the injured. Practical exercises enhanced their understanding of the importance of quick and coordinated actions in critical situations.

Station 3 "Personal Protective Equipment" – training participants tried on gas masks and respirators, studied the rules for their use and conditions of application.

Station 4 "Fire Safety" – students became acquainted with types of fire extinguishers and practiced their use. A particular interest was sparked by the demonstration of firefighting equipment and gear from the Koropets firefighters, who also conducted a briefing on rescue actions and allowed everyone to try extinguishing a simulated fire.

During the event, there was an atmosphere of responsibility, interest, and active involvement. Students not only gained important knowledge but also strengthened their confidence in their own abilities.

The teachers of Kramatorsk VPU care that the training is not only theoretical but also practically useful – preparing for real-life challenges and helping to save lives.
