On January 29, 2026, as part of the regional platform "Dialogue between Government and Business," an online meeting was held on innovations in taxation and amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine, which will come into force in 2026 with regard to the taxation of individuals.
The event was attended by over 100 representatives of businesses and authorities in the Donetsk region. The speaker at the meeting was Yulia Semerenko, deputy head of the personal income tax administration and taxpayer appeals department of the personal taxation division of the State Tax Service in the Donetsk region.
During the event, participants were explained the key changes in tax legislation, in particular the requirements for the level of remuneration for business entities engaged in the retail sale of excisable goods, the updated deadlines for filing tax returns, as well as the specifics of paying the single social contribution in 2026.
Special attention was paid to the application of tax regulations in frontline territories, electronic services of the State Tax Service, and the possibility of obtaining consultations through the taxpayer's electronic office and hotlines.
Meetings within the regional platform "Dialogue between Government and Business," created on the instructions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, are held on an ongoing basis with the aim of establishing effective communication between the government and entrepreneurs, as well as promptly informing businesses about current legislative changes.
