In honor of Ukraine’s Heroes’ Day, celebrated on May 23, the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library is announcing the regional gallery “Titans” to honor the memory of the fallen and express gratitude to the heroes and fighters for Ukraine’s freedom, independence, and sovereignty throughout the history of our state.
Participants are invited to create and submit a themed poster (made in an online editor or using pencils and markers) to the email address [email protected] between May 18 and 22, along with a short story about a Hero or Heroine of Ukraine. These may include: knights of Kievan Rus’, Cossacks, Haidamaks, Sich Riflemen, soldiers of the Army of the Ukrainian People’s Republic (UNR) or the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), or modern-day defenders.
The submitted works will be published on May 23 and 24 on the Donetsk Regional Children’s Library’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/oblbib.dn.ukr.net . All participants will receive digital certificates.
