As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Siverska community, together with its partners, held a warm online gathering titled “Family Values Without Borders” to mark International Family Day.
Representatives from the Siverska, Olhopil, and Onokiv communities joined in this heartfelt family gathering. Despite the distance between eastern and western Ukraine, the meeting fostered a sense of true unity, support, and warmth.
The event brought together educators, students, parents, and guests around what matters most—the family, which is a source of love, strength, trust, and inspiration.
Particularly touching was the interactive “Word Cloud: ‘Family,’” in which participants shared their associations: “love,” “comfort,” “support,” “happiness,” “care,” and “home.” Each word became a small piece of a big family heart.
The “Recipe for Family Happiness” video challenge brought vivid emotions, during which families from the Siverska and Olhopil communities shared their own “ingredients for happiness.” Some spoke of mutual understanding, others of sincerity and respect, and still others of evenings spent together and family traditions. And every recipe was special and heartfelt.
The “Family Amulet” creative workshop has become a symbol of how even identical materials can give rise to unique creations—just as every family has its own unique history, traditions, and values.
The final slideshow of family photos was a true moment of unity, warmth, and joy.
Such gatherings prove once again that true family values know no borders, and that Ukraine’s communities are strong when they support one another.
