As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” and thanks to the Memorandum of Cooperation in the form of a partnership between the Uzhhorod and Kostiantynivka municipal communities, ten children from the Kostiantynivka community had the opportunity to spend time at the “Natalia” Children’s Health Camp, located in a picturesque corner of Transcarpathia.
The costs of the children’s stay were fully covered by the budget of the Uzhhorod City Territorial Community. Today, our children are facing difficult challenges: because of the war, they were forced to leave their homes, their familiar social circles, and their friends.
A change of scenery and a vacation in a safer region of the country provide an incredibly important opportunity to restore their emotional and physical well-being, make new friends, and discover the beauty of their native Ukraine.
This trip was a truly memorable adventure for the children—one they so desperately needed during these difficult times.
