The children of the Siversk community had a wonderful opportunity to relax in the picturesque Onokiv community in Transcarpathia as part of the project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities." These days became a true breath of peace, warmth, and inspiration!
Thanks to the joint efforts of both communities, an atmosphere was created in which children from Eastern Ukraine could not only rest without the sounds of alarms and explosions but also feel genuine care, touch the traditions and customs of Western Ukraine, make new friends, and be filled with positive emotions.
What was there?
- meetings and friendly evenings,
- joint activities and games,
- interesting trips and excursions,
- new knowledge and impressions,
- delicious homemade food,
- and most importantly — a sense of peace and safety that is so lacking at home.
This vacation became yet another proof that Ukraine is united! And the project "Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities" is not just a temporary initiative but a true bridge of understanding, mutual support, and trust between communities from different corners of our state.
It was hard to say goodbye. Hugs, tears, promises to meet again. But we are confident: ahead are new meetings, new memories, and even more goodness.
