Summer vacation for children from the Siverska community is proving to be vibrant, active, and enriching at the “Malyatko” health camp in Zakarpattia.
The first few days of the camp have already provided the young participants with countless unforgettable experiences. The children went horseback riding, visited Nevytsky Castle, admired the picturesque landscapes of Transcarpathia, participated in sports and creative activities, enjoyed delicious meals, and made new friends.
Special attention is given to health and wellness. Every day, the children undergo therapeutic and wellness treatments, hippotherapy sessions, and therapeutic physical education classes. In addition, they consume ozonated apple juice and oxygen foam, which help improve their health.
The creative activities were no less exciting. At the Community Center in the village of Orikhovytsia, the children took part in a cookie-decorating workshop, and in the village of Huta, they made delicious varenyky by hand. While the meal was being prepared, everyone could choose an activity to their liking: play computer or board games, read a book, or chat with friends.
The young campers also took a walk to a picturesque mountain lake and had a great time at the amusement park, where trampolines, safety-equipped rides, toy cars, and roller coasters awaited them.
This trip was made possible thanks to the fruitful collaboration between the Siverska and Onokivska communities as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” which aims to support children from communities affected by the war.
Many more interesting excursions, new friendships, exciting adventures, and unforgettable experiences await the children. We wish them a wonderful vacation, good health, vivid experiences, and high spirits!
