Children from the Siverska community set off on an educational and cultural trip to Austria as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.” This trip provided a wonderful opportunity for the children not only to relax but also to broaden their horizons and learn about the culture and traditions of another country.
On their way to Austria, students from the Siverska community had the chance to enjoy picturesque landscapes and visit the castle in Kamianitsa, Uzhhorod District—a place that impresses with its history and atmosphere.
The children were warmly welcomed by Mr. Franz Fabian, the owner of the hotel where they will be staying during their visit. His hospitality was their first pleasant impression of Austria.
Throughout the ten-day trip, the students can look forward to new discoveries, interesting excursions, an introduction to Burgenland’s culture, and unforgettable experiences. We believe this trip will give everyone vivid impressions, new knowledge, and inspiration for the future!
The trip was made possible thanks to the support of the Dubrynytsia rural community in Zakarpattia Oblast—a partner of the Siverska community in the “Side by Side: United Communities” project.
