The State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience announces an extension of the deadline for submitting proposals for programs (projects, events) developed by civil society organizations representing national minorities (communities), for the implementation of which financial support will be provided from the state budget in 2026.
In order to ensure equal and inclusive access, and taking into account the interest of potential participants, a decision has been made to extend the deadline for submitting competitive proposals with the aim of expanding the participation of public associations of national minorities (communities) in Ukraine.
The deadline for submitting competitive proposals has been extended by 15 calendar days. The relevant submission deadlines have been changed to give applicants additional time to prepare and collect the necessary documents.

Proposals for the competition are submitted to address the following priority tasks:
• promoting intercultural dialogue and educational activities regarding Ukraine’s national minorities (communities), as well as preventing and combating discrimination against persons belonging to Ukraine’s national minorities (communities);
• conducting scientific research on interethnic relations and ensuring the protection of the rights of national minorities (communities) in Ukraine;
• restoring and preserving the historical memory of national minorities (communities) in Ukraine, ensuring the realization of cultural rights, and preserving and developing the languages of persons belonging to national minorities (communities) in Ukraine.
The maximum amount of funding from the state budget for programs (projects, events) developed by public associations of national minorities (communities) of Ukraine may not exceed 1 million hryvnias per project. A public association of a national minority (community) of Ukraine recognized as the winner of the competition shall participate in the co-financing of the program (project, event) in an amount of no less than 15 percent of the required funding.
A single public association of a national minority (community) of Ukraine may submit several proposals to the competition.
