As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” children from the Svyatogorsk city community spent unforgettable days of rest and recreation in the hospitable Chemerovets community.
For children who live with the realities of war every day, this trip was a true breath of fresh air. It gave them the most precious gift of all—a sense of safety, care, and peace, as well as the chance to return, at least for a little while, to the carefree world of childhood.
The program was packed with activities, interesting, and varied. The young residents of Svyatogorsk enjoyed exciting excursions through the picturesque corners of the Khmelnytskyi region, learned about the region’s history and culture, and participated in sports competitions, team games, scavenger hunts, creative workshops, contests, and talent shows. Every day brought new discoveries, genuine smiles, positive emotions, and unforgettable experiences.
Interacting with peers, making new friends, and forming bonds that will surely remain in the children’s hearts proved especially valuable. It is precisely these encounters that give children faith in goodness, support, and the unity of Ukrainians.
This vacation became not only an opportunity to improve their health but also a unique form of therapy through kindness, sincerity, and human compassion. The children returned home happy, full of energy, inspiration, and warm memories.
It is thanks to unity, mutual support, and such wonderful initiatives that our children have the opportunity to experience the joy of childhood, regain their strength, and believe in a happy future.
Together, we are strong. Together—side by side—we are bringing Victory closer and building a future for our children!
