Living assistance may be granted to internally displaced persons who meet one of the following conditions:
▫️ You relocated or relocated again after January 1, 2022, from an area where active hostilities are taking place (or previously took place) or that was under temporary occupation, and which is included in the official list of such territories.
▫️ Your home was destroyed or became uninhabitable as a result of hostilities. In this case, information about the damaged or destroyed property must be entered into the State Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property or confirmed by documents issued by the relevant local self-government authority or, if such an authority is unavailable, by the regional military administration.
Living assistance for internally displaced persons is granted from the month of application for a period of six months, with an automatic extension for the next six-month period, subject to verification that recipients continue to meet the established eligibility requirements and criteria (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 332 of March 20, 2022, "Certain Issues of Providing Living Assistance to Internally Displaced Persons").
If you do not have a disability and are not employed (including military service, self-employment, or entrepreneurial activity), you are required to take steps toward employment within three months of being granted the assistance. This means you must either:
