Question: My father owns an agricultural land share (land allotment). Will our family be eligible for a housing subsidy?
Answer: Yes, but under certain conditions.
Income generated by leasing out an agricultural land share is taken into account when determining eligibility for a housing subsidy. The amount of the subsidy is calculated based on the income received from the land share during the relevant period.
If the tenant pays the landowner rent in kind rather than in cash, the tenant must submit a report to the tax authorities indicating the monetary value of the rent provided.
Information about the income received by the owner of the land share is transmitted electronically to the Pension Fund of Ukraine by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
Important: If the agricultural land share does not generate any income for the household, owning it does not affect eligibility for or the amount of the housing subsidy.
