Find out if the “eYasla” benefit is taken into account when calculating basic social assistance

Published 27 October 2026 year, 18:21

I receive the “eYasla” benefit. Is it taken into account when calculating basic social assistance?

Yes, it is.

The amount of basic social assistance (BSA) is determined based on the family’s average monthly total income, which is calculated using the income received during the three months preceding the month prior to the month in which the application for BSA was submitted.

The list of payments that are not included in this income is specified in the Procedure for Implementing the Pilot Project on the Provision of Basic Social Assistance, approved by Resolution No. 371 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 25, 2025, and the Procedure for Calculating the Average Monthly Total Income of a Family (Household) for All Types of State Social Assistance, approved by Resolution No. 632 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 22, 2020.

The “eYasla” benefit is not included in the list of payments that are not taken into account when calculating average monthly total income.

Amounts received as the “eYasla” benefit are included in the calculation of the family’s average monthly total income.
