In 2025, some Ukrainians who were eligible for a one-time payment of UAH 6,500 under the “Winter Support” program did not receive the funds. The reason was technical: payments were not completed before the end of the budget year.
⚖️ On March 4, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 284, which allows these payments to be made in 2026.
❓ Who will receive UAH 6,500 in 2026?
These funds will be paid to those who were already eligible for the assistance in 2025 but did not receive it.
The payment of UAH 6,500 is intended for the most vulnerable groups:
✅ children under guardianship or custody;
✅ children with disabilities living in family-type orphanages or foster families;
✅ children from low-income families;
✅ children and persons with Group I disabilities among internally displaced persons;
✅ single pensioners.
The assistance will be provided to applicants who had already submitted their applications in 2025, including via the Diia app or in paper form.
If an application was submitted and the Pension Fund made a decision to grant the assistance, but the funds were not paid by the end of 2025, the applicant should now receive them.
