A practical online seminar titled “Barrier-Free Education: Technologies” was held in the Donetsk region, bringing together over 230 teachers, consultants, and specialists in the field of special and inclusive education.
The event was organized by the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Representatives from general secondary schools and special schools in the Donetsk region participated in the exchange of experiences, including educators from schools in the Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Kostyantynivka communities.
Participants focused on developing a barrier-free educational environment and improving approaches to teaching students with special educational needs in the subject of “Technology.”
The seminar addressed the following key areas:
- the implementation of digital tools to adapt instructional materials;
- the creation of a barrier-free and inclusive educational environment;
- the application of practice-oriented and project-based teaching methods;
- the organization of vocational and work-based training for students with special educational needs;
- the use of distance learning formats and collaborative practices;
- the development of students’ creative potential through modern educational technologies.
Particular attention was paid to the issue of creating an accessible educational environment that ensures equal opportunities for learning, development, and future professional fulfillment for every child.
The event served as a platform for sharing practical experiences and developing effective solutions in the field of educational accessibility.
