For the majority of recipients, housing subsidies for the upcoming heating season starting in October 2026 will be automatically reassigned by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
Do you need to reapply if your summer 2026 subsidy was $0.00?
No. If your household was granted a housing subsidy in a zero-amount ($0.00) denomination for the non-heating season in summer 2026, or if you currently receive an active subsidy, you do not need to reapply or submit additional documents to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The recalculation for the heating season will occur automatically.
Who is required to submit a new application?
A formal application and declaration must be submitted if:
You are applying for a housing subsidy for the first time.
Your application for the non-heating season was explicitly denied/rejected.
There have been changes in household composition or the social status of household members.
Other relevant circumstances have arisen that affect your eligibility for receiving a housing subsidy.
