🔰 According to Article 24 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance” (hereinafter — the Law), the insurance record is the period during which a person is covered by mandatory state pension insurance and for which insurance contributions have been paid monthly in an amount no less than the minimum insurance contribution (22% of the minimum wage).
ℹ️ Periods of employment and other periods counted toward work record before the Law came into force are included in the insurance record according to the legislation that was in effect at that time, except for cases defined by the current Law.
Military Service and Insurance Record
✅ According to paragraph 11 of Article 11 of the Law, persons performing compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are subject to mandatory state pension insurance.
The requirement for paying insurance contributions for such persons by insurers has been in effect since January 1, 2005.
How Military Service Is Counted Toward Insurance Record
🗂 Compulsory military service before 01.01.2005 is included in the insurance record on the basis of:
entries in the employment record book, or
if it is missing or lacks needed entries — documents required by the Procedure for Confirming Employment Record, including:
a military ID (військовий квиток);
a certificate from the territorial recruitment and social support centers, military units, or other institutions of the Ministry of Defense.
📌 From 01.01.2005 onward, periods of compulsory military service are included according to the data of the personalized accounting system.
