Representatives of Donetsk region took part in a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures

Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Boiko joined the regular online meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures and Effective Response to Mass Displacement of the Population.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba and attended by representatives of the Ministry of Development.

During the meeting, participants discussed current issues related to the organization and implementation of evacuation measures, interagency coordination, ensuring the safety and support of citizens who are forced to leave their homes due to the ongoing danger.

During the discussion, Ihor Boiko emphasized that from February 26, 2022, to December 7, 2025, more than 1.3 million civilians, including over 201,800 children and over 47,300 people with disabilities, were evacuated from the territories of Donetsk Oblast controlled by Ukraine by authorities at all levels, volunteer formations, and volunteers. 3 million civilians, including over 201,800 children and over 47,300 people with disabilities, from the territories of Donetsk region controlled by Ukraine.

He also noted that the evacuees are currently being received by Poltava, Lviv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions and the city of Kyiv, which are providing the necessary conditions for their accommodation and support.

Ihor Boiko stressed the importance of coordinated work by all structures responsible for evacuation processes and emphasized that the Donetsk Regional State Administration continues to improve mechanisms for responding to challenges caused by the security situation in the region.
